What is SCORM?

SCORM is a set of technical standards that governs how online learning content and Learning Management Systems (LMSs) communicate with each other. SCORM allows content authors to distribute their content to a variety of LMSs, and for LMSs to handle content from a variety of sources. SCORM stands for Shareable Content Object Reference Model.
