Update on April 22nd, 2020: Climate Neutral certified PartnerVine for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions today. We are looking forward to continuing to improve the sustainability of our operations. Below is our article announcing our commitment to net-zero greenhouse gas omissions dated March 3rd, 2020.
PartnerVine is proud to announce that we have committed to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions for our operations. We’re doing so because we value the trust of those we work with, and intend to earn that trust in every way we can. We want you to know that PartnerVine’s integrity extends to our sustainability strategy, which will now be certified by an independent third party and clearly communicated on our website.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with Climate Neutral, an independent non-profit organization, to measure, reduce, and offset our carbon emissions. Climate Neutral’s certification process will give us net-zero carbon emissions, meaning we’ll reduce the amount of carbon we’re responsible for emitting, then zero out the rest by purchasing carbon offsets. Carbon offsets are investment projects that either prevent carbon from being emitted or remove carbon from the atmosphere.
Getting certified as climate neutral is an important step in PartnerVine’s sustainability strategy. As a fast-growing company, we may not be able to reduce our carbon emissions every year, but we have committed to grow responsibly.
